You may be my lucky star, I’m the luckiest by far
Great, I have lj friends now...I suppose I have to start writing here now...thanks, guys. :-P
So...just a few updates on my life:
I turn 17 tomorrow. Woohoo. 'Cept, it's not 18, so that "woohoo" is a bit tepid. Ah well, I'm enjoying saying that I'm "on the edge of seventeen". 'Cause I'm a dork like that.
So, I've been watching way to much television since summer break started. Usually between the hours of 10 am and noon, and between 10 pm and midnight. Come on, you know you love Dharma & Greg, Will & grace, and Sex and the City reruns...mainly because they all have "and" in the name. Although, I must admit that I'm devastated...the Game Show Network is no longer on basic cable. How am I supposed to have a good summer without watching the Match Game and Love Connections? Really...Well, I guess I'll be saved from my tv addiction when I start work on Monday. I'm pretty excited...art camps are awesome like that. I get to make crafts with the kids, get paid for it, and I get to see friends that I never get to see.
Last week I was in Virginia with Lydia and Andrew visiting Lydia's relatives...it was awesome, and just the getaway I needed. Except for the frequent game losing and sugar binges. But even those helped to restore my sanity...maybe I won't go bonkers quite yet.
So, yeah, my summer's been pretty awesome so far, and I think it's just going to get more awesome.
I've decided that I when I grow up I want to be a strange combination of Karen Walker (from Will and Grace) and Talullah Bankhead. If you don't know who she is, you should google her. Look for quotes by her. She's pretty amazing. And disregard the fact that I want to be a combination of two drunks...that's not why they're aweome.
I really wish I knew where my camera was...maybe I'll go look for it in my pigsty of a room.
