I'll be your whatever you want; the bong in this reggae song...

What am I going to do with my life?

I'm supposed to make a decision on college by this Friday (before we go to my cousin's wedding, where everyone will ask me where I'm going and after a while I'll decide that maybe I should have observed the Day of Silence with more than just discreetly wearing something rainbow-y and then I'll go hide in a corner and write hideous run-on sentences like this one in my journal since I won't be able to get on LiveJournal at the wedding.)

I think I know where I'm going, but I keep second-guessing myself since I don't want to be broke for the rest of my life, which is very possible, seeing as I have no clue what I want to do, and everything I want to do is going to have me living in my parent's basement for the rest of my life.

Maybe I'll stick with Environmental Studies and save the world...and never pay off my college debt.

Maybe I'll get stuck with the scientific aspect of it and be miserable and feel inadequate next to people who understand environmental science.

Maybe I'll write the next great American trashy novel.

Maybe I'll be a flim-maker and revive the camp classic...

or a C-level celebrity and act in someone else's revivals of the camp classic.

Maybe I'll start that tourist (eco-tourist?) trap I've always wanted to establish...

or work at Disney World for the rest of my life. You never know, it could be my calling...I am determined to work there at least one summer during college.

At one point, I had a bunch I wanted to write about in here, but I can't remember any of it now...

Oh, but I will point out some things that have made me very happy in the past few weeks:

~Warm Weather

~Haggen Daz (sp?) has limited edition green tea ice cream, which is beyond delicious.

~Multicultural weekend at WashU was a lot of fun...I visited some great classes (I'm deff. taking Portuguese if I go there), ate great food, went to fun events...and fell flat on my face on the sidewalk right after meeting new friends. I scraped my hands and knees pretty badly. Not fun at the time, but hilarious now, just since I made such a good impression on these peopole.

~And amazing music videos. And Finnish Duck Tales opening songs. (check out the "English" lyrics).

(The Finnish videos are because I was trying to learn how to speak in a Finnish accent for the Senior play, but I failed horribly.)

~And most of all...the gold lamé shorts I bought from American Apparel...with matching headband...for my 80s party...which I swear will happen eventually. In the meantime, I've been wearing the shorts underneath everything.
