There's so much I want to say to this...but I'm not going to, simply because a lot of it would take a long time...and be argumentative, and you asked for none of that. So...onto some of things that aren't argumentative...
It's a really sweet idea, and I like the part about people being people, not labels. I think the tolerance things needs to start with you/me/him/her/everyone individually first. Before someone can change the world they much change themselves. (For the record: I'm not singling you out about the tolerance and love thing. I actually think the general population has a problem with those things, and I'm saying that we all need to work on those by ourselves before anything can change as a whole.)

ps- Bring these things up in philosophy. You need to get your opinions out because they're strong and intelligent opinions.

im all for the starting with ourselves deal.

when i talked to my hippy teacher in summer school...i started thinkin about things like this, and ive only recently come to a few conclusions about it.
instead of talking all the time, i actually want to try to live my life like this and i plan to. it may take a whole...my whole life. and i'll fuck up plenty...but i think, personally, its worth it.

ps. i love you for not fighting me on all this. lol, i already know about how you feel about the dead and dying half way across the world anyway......LOVE.

I completely respect that. The truth is, if more people had the want and time/energy to try and do this I think the world would be a much better place. I just don't think most people care to that extent, although I'm really pleased this is something you want to do. I actually think I gained a notch of respect for you...because it's hard to be like that. Complete tolerance is pretty much impossible, and to strive to reach that is a commendable thing.

...and I figured the 'don't argue me on this' was put there mostly for me, so I decided to respect that...
