Collar
OK, so for a while i have owned a bog standard collar, black unlined leather, short cone studs, but i recently gave it away. I never wore it, it was never part of me, but this new collar its different, its a custom design all the way from the USA! I got bollocked on import tax and the like, and the phone call from the lady at UPS was slightly embarrassing but otherwise fine. It all pales now that i own it.
OK, so it all appears good on the surface, and in all respects now it is. What a road it was getting there though! We ordered 4 collars (one for me) this reduced postage costs, but didn't manage to evade getting taxed! I intently tracked the package, getting even more excited. You can imagine the disappointment when i opened the box to find a single collar, and wrong description, after reading the packing slip, it was destined for AUSTRALIA! Disappointed, I went home, on the way home, it suddenly struck me, that some guy in Australia had 4 collars worth a total of $180USD! Once home, I emailed them and it turns out that they had found out the previous day from the person in Australia. A new set was sent out ASAP, i was allowed to keep the previous collar, and they reimbursed me back for the customs charges. So in closing, all that was lost was time.
