Canterbury Trip (Part 4)

Sep 03, 2008 18:30

Well I made it to victoria train station. Opting to take the Underground for 5 stops than walk for 3.5 miles (i think it was). In the end...

Trains and planes are all and well
For movement overworld
But after time and time again
Delays and timing bad
I wish i could just walk it.
-Lucy.

thanks for that stellar impromptu bit of poetry there lucy >.>...

Anyways, back to what i was typing with some strange girl (lucy) next to me making even stranger noises (erp!) In the end the tube cost me £4 when i really should have bought an oyster card. Ho hum, ah well! Lesson learned for the return journey.

Oh and in a rather bizarre thing which i haven't encountered before is the train to Canterbury actually splits, into two trains to go in separate directions, with one half going via east Canterbury to Dover. And the other half buggering off somewhere else... Whitstable I've just been told.

Next message will be when i (finally) make it to Lucy's. No doubt whilst watching Trainspotting which she wants to watch at quater past 11.
