Isn't if funny how God does things sometimes? (okay fine, all the time.) He works in such fun ways.
I've been in a real yucky funk the past few days, and it's really taken a toll on me and how I felt, and how I treated people, (especially my roomiedearest, I have not been very nice to her the past few days :( sorry sammycakes!)
but last night I was just laying in bed wondering what the heck was wrong with me, and I started getting back into my "close off from everyone INCLUDING God and just be a jerkface always and forever". Then I got up to put my stuff downstairs for today, and once I got back up in my bed again, my attitude had done a 180. Once I was in my bed again, I decided that once I fell asleep, the attitude and weird feelings would be gone, and God would help me do that. And starting this morning, I wouldn't be funky anymore. So I've felt pretty good all day..THEN:
I went to go do an errand and get a pop because I didn't have anything to drink with lunch, and I was thisrty, but I am really short on cash this week so I went back and forth between getting one and not getting one. Finally I decided I would get a drink now, then not get one on the way to class like I usually do.
I walked into Mucho Gusto,(because EVERYONE knows fountain soda is 93028409382490 times better then can or bottle) and there was 2 girls and an older guy working. After I told them I just wanted a drink, they told me to go ahead and take one. No need to pay. So after thanking them probably one too many times for their liking, I got my free soda and was on my way. I almost didn't go there, anywhere else I would have gone, I would have paid for a drink. I just decided to stop there because I knew they had fountain soda, I've never been in that Mucho Gusto before.
Even though that was a dumb situation, that was God saying, HELLLO?! I'm still here, I'll always be here.. even in the silliest, none important situations. So lean into my crazy girl.
duh cindra, duh.
I really needed to share that because I think it rocks.
