My Kick Ass Weekend.
Last night at about 9 o'clock, I decided to go to Sofie's. I cried like 38593839958 times from laughing & it was grand, even though TEENS was at her friend's and NEC was block-partying it up, so we all couldn't have a sleepover.
Anyway, Sofie & her mom & me watched "Odd Girl Out" on Lifetime. It was rather ... exaggerated? But interesting.
THEN we watched some of "Sleeping Beauty" and cracked up at cracked eggs, Maleficent's cane, Mrs. West, and MARYweather ...
But then we saw some Billie Whitelaw, which pretty much made me pee in my pants. Okay I take that back - it DID make me pee in my pants. [I AM LAUGHING OUT LOUD RIGHT NOW.]
There's this one scene where the camera focuses in on Billie herself [ohboy] and you see Billie slowly opening her eyes ... and then her jaw moves and you're thinking, This incredibly intelligent woman is going to say something wonderful; let me listen. But of course, all that she has to say is "MOH!" After she says this word, she closes her eyes again and the camera pans out. Something this simple was probably one of the funniest moments of my life.
... Does anybody else notice a humongous similarity here?
So I got home at 12ish.
I woke up early this morning & decided HECK I'LL GO TO THE VOLLEYBALL PICNIC. Considering I thought I could start a bloodbath. (Justplayinggg, that's simply my new word.) But I did go swimming in the dirty creek, before learned what "Hi Me 5cents" means. I apparently have failed the speed bump test.
On the way home I texted Haley & we decided to get together. So I went over her house and we played up some Mario Party while listening to the Spice Girls, watched Made, and watched America's Next Top Model. Oh yeah, and I burned my feet on the black road.
