Okay, to people who sew, here is my scenario:
My driver's seat bolster is ripped to shreds (okay, not really, there's a worn spot). This is common for this type of seat, and, being 17 years old, I can't expect it to -not- be worn.
Down the road, these seats will be replaced, but for now... I'm considering the following "quick" fix:
1. Small piece of foam to fill in the hole in the bolster.
2. Black or grey suede, or some other grey or black material to sew directly to the seat. Cut a pattern so as not to look like a simple square, attach it to the driver's side and passenger side for uniformity.
Is #2 possible without being a major pain in the ass, and with the seat still in the car?
Obviously..... eh.... I don't know anything about sewing nor upholstery.
