Terra has 10 Things You Didn’t Know About Diego Luna. One of these things (it’s the second):
One of his first projects as an actor was in the kid telenovela "El Abuelo Y Yo" (1992)
, where he got the chance to work by his best friend's side (Gael Garcia Bernal)
It has a picture of Diego and Gael as kids!

ACE Photos popped up this week with a photo of Diego, with Camila and Jeronimo (it’s a very sweet photo!). ACE Showbiz also popped up this week with photos of Diego - remember those ones of him with some stills from Abel? That’s what’s surfaced at ACE Showbiz this week!

And over at MadeMan, there’s an article about 5 Best Mexican Actors. Diego comes in at number 3. From the article:
3. Diego Luna. Born in Mexico City, Mexico, in 1979, Diego Luna is the youngest member of the list of five best Mexican actors. At the age of 30, he’s a veteran actor, having started his career at the age of twelve in the film “El Ultimo Fin de Ano” (“The Last New Year”). He acted in several telenovelas before being cast in the role that would introduce him to U.S. audiences-Tenoch Iturbide in Alfonso Cuaron’s
“Y Tu Mama Tambien” (“And Your Mother, Too”). He has made a number of Hollywood films since, including the Tom Hanks flop “Terminal” and the Academy Award nominated bio pic “Milk” with Sean Penn.
Over at Cheez Burger, there was a statement made, supported by photos> Diego Luna Totally Looks Like Paul McCartney. Why not pop over, check it out and let us know what you think?

In case you didn’t know, the LA Film Festival line-up has been announced! indieWIRE talked about the LAFF line up, with their mention of Revolución being close to the centre of their article; they also spoke about Ambulante, Diego and Gael’s travelling film festival:
This year’s festival will include a selection of Gala Screenings, replacing the traditional Centerpiece. Sony Pictures Classics’ “Animal Kingdom,” directed by David Michod; Fox Searchlight’s “Cyrus,” directed by Jay & Mark Duplass; the world premiere of “Mahler on the Couch,” directed by Percy and Felix Adlon; the North American premiere of “Revolucion,” a series of short films directed by Mariana Chenillo, Fernando Eimbcke, Amat Escalante, Gael Garcia Bernal, Rodrigo Garcia, Diego Luna, Gerardo Naranjo, Rodrigo Pia, Carlos Reygadas, and Patricia Riggen; and Paramount Vantage’s “Waiting for Superman,” directed by Davis Guggenheim are among the spotlight screenings at the early summer fest. “We wanted to have five galas as opposed to one Centerpiece, and they’re all reflective of the overall festival,” said Yeldham.

In addition to “Revolucion,” LAFF will continue its initiative last year spotlighting work from Garcia-Bernal and Luna’s Ambulante Film Festival in Mexico, saying the program fits the event well. “That was a great partnerhip and after last year, everyone thought, ‘why does this have to be a one off?’” said Yeldham.
But, wait, that’s not all!

The LAFF line up was also mentioned by twitch film, Gordon and the Whale, Awards Daily (Revolución is listed under the Gala Screenings), the LA Times Movies Blog and PR Newswire; all mentioned Revolución and Diego is listed amongst its directors.

While on the subject of film festivals, Hey U Guys had the Cannes line up posted with Abel listed under ‘Special Screenings’. Daemon’s Movies also had the line up listed, with Abel mentioned in the list.

Plus, there’s also a YouTube video that mentions Diego!**
