but anyways, i think its time for a long entry.......
well i hate writing about my weekend, but it was real fun on saturday. so everyone was snowboarding and cody, his cousin and i were just driving around and we went up to alpine to meet up with mitch, jake, spence, and a bunch of other people. so i went up the chairlift and went down the hill first on the back of spence's skis a couple times than on the front of mitch's snowboard. good lord, was that fun. next time im going for real and actually renting myself a board. today i went to work then to my cousins house for gifts. i got 50 dollars to best buy which i intend to use accordingly.
things are feeling weird lately, i dont know how to describe it. christmas time is usually my favorite time of the year but this year its different. it seems like as i grow older, christmas becomes less and less important to me.
what was it about the fireplace, the seasonally appropriate music and the freshly cooked christmas ham that used to make you feel like it was all going to be alright? like it would be your turn under the mistletoe this year? like you would get the present you've always wanted??? i hope so... well maybe its growing up, but the loss of innocence is driving me insane the more i think about it.
