This is called, “Im not going to Sol anymore” We'll start at Friday since everything past that is somewhat of a blur. Today is Wednesday. Friday, we get out of class late. I go home, get a hold of Agata, she lets me use her shower. I head home and drop off my shower stuff. Go to Aarons and begin drinking early with him, Josh, and Chris. Josh and Chris make us ham and chorizo sandwiches. By this point, we're all drunk. We go to meet up with Ali, Lisa, and Krista in Sol. End up getting Sangria at some little pub and then wandering to O'Connellys (which the first week here, we ventured too and I tripped on the front step and fell flat on my face). Chris and Josh leave to catch the metro. I get annoyed for some reason and begin taking shots of whiskey by myself (has happened a lot here) The girls want to stay but Aaron and I want to catch the Metro so we drunkenly stumble out of the bar and find the metro and part our seperate ways.
Next morning: girls are extremely hungover. Ali and Lisa wake up late. Supposed to meet up with class at 9, it's 8:40....Hurry our way to the meeting spot and the bus is not there. I call Chris he says Gabriella will turn around JUST FOR US. So they do. We go to El Escorial and see the monastery. Lots of cool art and architecture, even better view from the windows. Head to Valley of the Fallen with a huge cross, looks like Oregon, amazing chapel, and an unbelievable view. Wander around, go down the stairs to the bottom just to mock the loud Texans who are not allowed to go down there. Head home, kinda fall asleep on the bus. Fuck around, doing go knows what. Later head down to Atotcha to meet up Chris, Josh, Aaron, Kathleen and Joneveive. While Im waiting I talk to Americans and one girl gives me the rest of her Vodka and Orange Juice. Kapital is not very crowded but still fun. I get three free drinks and begin buying 6 euro shots of Whiskey, bad idea. I am broke. The top floor has an open roof, by 5 we lay down and rest. Before that too many guys hit on Kathleen and I and we accidently punched one of them in the head. At 5 am we get kicked out, the clubs closed. We go get hot dogs along with 15 other people. It was a damn good hot dog. Metro opens at 6, we go home.
Sunday I sleep all day, go to a park with Jessica and walk around. Retiro is better. Go home, study for midterm and head to the bullfight. So brutal. Dont even need to write much because I will never forget that. Go home, study, sleep.
Monday: I'm sick. School. Home. Bottle of Wine. Three metro lines to get my shower stuff I left at Agatas. Wander home. Stop in some random store and buy a purse and a shirt. Go home, still drunk from the wine. Earlier Agata tells me there's salsa dancing with music down in Sol. I'm down, of course I'm down, I'm already drunk. So I go home, my roommates are there, they're going to Sol too, because that is where everybody goes. I drunkenly get dressed and meet Agata at her metro stop. We head to meet Marissa and wander into some random bar before Salsa. Coincidentally other USAC kids are there, but they're going home. Minus Josh, who comes to Salsa, and freakin loves it. We dance and drink mojitos for a while. Josh and I dance horribly together in the midst of salsa experts and we see Marissa and Agata make out. We leave, with some poor attempt to find the nightbus, epic fucking fail. We ask some guy and eventually the conversation turns into him trying to sell us cocaine. I plan on going back to his apartment (because it is my second home) but realize I haven't told my roommates that and should go home. Halfway through our walk I grab a cab, go home, pass out.

Tuesday: Long story short. Chris and I found the House of Seven Chimneys...where in the 17th century a man started a small mutiny where he tried to ban capes and broadrimmed hats. We have nothing to do after that, but our other alcoholic friend wants to drink, so we go to his apartment with wine, sangria and once that is gone we each drink a forty. Head out BACK TO SOL, BACK TO OCONNELYS, and BACK TO EL SON FOR SALSA. I seriously could have just stayed in all weekend and summed it up with Tuesday. But there was live music which is always amazing. I dance with random people, poorly I might add. Aaron and I get way too drunk taking way too many shots of whiskey and leave. The end.
