soooooo... I had a weird, emotional two weeks. Now they're over and I'm glad. I'm sure most of you had known that Mike and I had broken up over Halloween weekend over irrelevant shit. But last Thursday, we got back together after two very very long weeks. :) And I am so happy about it!
In other news, I landed this job at that big General Assembly Jewish Conference that is still going on right now. I worked for 11 hours straight on Sunday and about 9 hours yesterday. It was awesome! I made a lot of money by just being there, plus commission. I met a lot of influential Jewish people. Other than those 2 things, it was a great job because I really enjoyed what I was selling. I was selling the leading scholarly journal in Israel, printed both in Hebrew and in English... the English name being "Azure." It's a fantastic school of thought. www.azure.org/il
Last Friday night, Tracy, Sivan and I went to "Posh" in Akron, a dance club. I don't like to dance, but I did it anyway. Several factors went into me "dancing," which include:
-I was drunk.
-Tracy and Sivan looked like they were having a lot of fun.
-As soon as I was alone, weird older men started hitting on me and trying to touch my legs. eewww.
-I was drunk.
But I ended up having a great time on our "Girls Night Out." After we got back around 2:30AM, Mike stayed over. But I couldn't go to sleep right away because I was too dizzy. Tracy couldn't sleep off her dizziness because she had to go to work... it was very unfortunate for her.
Good news: the International Economic Relations exam that I thought I did horrible on.... I got an "A"!!!!! seriously folks, I can't fuckin' believe it. AND on the paper that I wrote for the class, I got a perfect! ;)
Discouraging news: finding a job or even significant volunteer work is difficult, especially when you have over 100 sentences to write in Italian in different forms while studying for a US Foreign Policy exam all while trying to have your feet wake up from their 28 hour nap. ugh.
bye bye.
