This past weekend...
I was at Virginia Beach! The reason, you ask? well, to make a really long story short... my mom had surgery, so she had 6 weeks off from work... which is the perfect time for a VACATION!!! She was at the beach for a week alone, and then I showed up Thursday night! It was awesome! I had a fantastic time!
The Summary:
Thursday night- great salmon stuffed with shrimp! and an eclair PIE!
friday- the BEST marine life/science museum ever! As soon as I got there, I got splashed with water by a harbor seal. I touched 2 sting rays! and i watched how they fed them. I watched the sharks swim around. There were a shit load of sea turtles. I saw a SHARK FETUS!!!! also, otters, a bunch of snakes, etc. etc. This scuba diver came into this huge fish tank, and the fish started sucking on different body parts. hehehehehe...
oh oh oh... massage happened that afternoon. i love being rubbed up and down with oils! whoa!
and again, seafood for dinner.
Saturday- I went PARASAILING!!!!!!!! (pics will be posted in a couple of weeks...) parasailing was sweeet! BUT my butt and legs were completely numb from the harness because they put me in a kids' size, instead of an adult size. (i guess i should think of it as a compliment...) and the speed boat ride afterwards was really choppy, there was nausea but no vomit, amazingly. Theeeeeen, my mom and I hung out at the beach for a while. (No, i'm not tan. dammit) Afterwards, we went on a 2 hour boat ride watching for dolphins. (this time i took my Dramamine ahead of time!) it was so beautiful. there were somewhere between 35-50 dolphins surrounding the boat. really really fantastic!

and then i came back on sunday. drove to Parma to see Laura for a few... several hours. today, lots of Mike welcoming me home all morning long!!! met with a CIA agent. very interesting, informative hour and a half of my life. after, had an interview with victoria's secret. i love underwear.
