I've copy and pasted the quiz from last year... I'm not convinced many of my answers need changing...
01. What did you do in 2006 7 that you'd never done before?
**Desperately looks through diary** erm, made pancakes saw lapdancers?
02. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Didn't make any. This year I might, I have a huge list of things that I need to do/become, I just have to make it more realistic first.
Didn't make any last year. This year I intend to try a bit harder to get a job.
03. Did someone close to you give birth?
No, but my brother's missus had a baby.
04. Did anyone close to you die?
Nope.
05. What countries did you visit?
England? Hmm, that doesn't really count as visting, does it?
06. What would you like to have in 2007 8 that you lacked in 2006 7?
Erm, the usual I suppose, a stable larger income, confidence, pretty clothes =)
07. What date from 2006 7 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Considering that I had to look in my diary to find out if I had actually done anything this year, I'm presuming that's going to be a "none"
08. What was your biggest achievement(s) of the year?
Getting a promotion at work (although I nearly had to beg for that). Ooh, and i went out to socialise 3 4 times with someone other than Dave or Matt!
09. What was your biggest failure(s)?
Finally having to admit defeat at uni.
I haven't really tried to do anything so I haven't failed at anything! =)
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I've had a headache for the last month, does that count?
just recovering from a nasty throat infection, but that's about it
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My racing frogs book and my bath oil (I really need to relax). **Comes back to add:** computer...
cute duck slippers for £2.49
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Erm, probably somebody's.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
No-one that I can think of. People in general kinda suck though...
14. Where did most of your money go?
Rent... pretty flat :)
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Just read through the entirety of last year's journal entries. So nothing, apparently. I'm sure I was excited about getting my piano at one point. Although as I haven't got it yet... got it in february, yay
**just noticed question 16 didn't exist**
**found it**
16 What songs will always remind you of 2006 7?
I'm not entirely sure I will remember much of it to be perfectly honest. So I'm not sure you can be reminded of nothing...
Perhaps Celtic Frost - Obscured
17. Compared to this time last year, are you
i. happier or sadder? Sadder Happier, I'm not sure I could have gotten much worse
ii. thinner or fatter? Same, it just all seems to have moved to less favorable places! even more so
iii. richer or poorer? A lot richer. This time last year I'd hit the bottom of my overdraft and was borrowing money to pay my rent.
I'll probably be a fair bit richer when I've gotten all of the money I'm owed back
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Nothing. My year hasn't exactly been perfect, but if I went back I don't think there would be anything that I would change.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Trying to find out if anyone cared.
nothing, I seem to have spent an awful lot of time doing nothing

**can't be bothered to find 21**

Not especially. Anyone that I passed in town that I hadn't previously passed?
25. What was the best book you read?
Probably Life, Interrupted. A memoir of a guy with tourettes who plays the piano. I found it very moving. I usually refuse to read life stories. There are an awful lot of books being released at the moment, "I was abused as a kid, just like the last person's book you bought. You love it you prevert" I just don't get it.
26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Estradasphere, Bal-sagoth and Candlemass
27. What did you want and get?
In general? A promotion, erm... some pretty christmas presents?
28. What did you want and not get?
A degree. (I think that still counts, I don't have a degree, and I'd quite like one, doesn't matter that I haven't been in uni at all this year!) A new job
29. Favorite films of this year?
Can't remember what I went to see. 28 Weeks Later was a lot better than I had expected. Pretty much everything else we went to see was purely because we had free tickets

Went for a couple of drinks followed by about an hour in Jillys. I was 21 2 =( somethings never change =p

Black and plain. Anything to not be noticed.
33. What kept you sane?
Absolutely nothing.
34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
I don't like celebrities.
35. What political issue stirred you the most?
None, I should feel bad, but the outside world just doesn't seem to effect me that way. I seem to find people smoking on buses and spitting on the pavement a lot more important!!

In the last week or so I've started to get homesick. I also miss having a propper best friend =(

The x-mas temp at work, she was nice, we're going to keep in touch if I ever get round to mailing her!

Don't make plans. The chances are they'll go wrong somewhere along the line anyway.
39. What was your favourite moment of the year?
Erm, moving into my new, pretty flat.
moment? erm... I don't have one

No-one.

No-one

Didn't drink very often. When I did I probably had too much though.
47. Did you do a lot of drugs in 2006?
No.
48. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
Your will to live just dampens mine
Although, "As I eat our baby I'm thinking of you, So I eat our child I wish we'd had two" has to be a pretty close runner up ;)
49. Did you do anything you are ashamed of this year?
If I did I can't remember it so I can't have been that ashamed. Letting people down, I guess. But that's no change from the previous year. or the one before that, apparently
50. What was the worst lie someone told you in 2006?
Don't remember.
**found another one**

Not knowingly.

Not badly, just didn't treat me well.
53. How much money did you spend in 2006?
erm, about 6k by the looks of my statements.
54. If you could go back in time to any moment of 2006 and change what?
This question doesn't make sence. Okay, so I know how it is supposed to read, but as I don't have an answer for it as I have already said I couldn't have done anything better I thought I would be difficult instead.
55. What are your plans for 2007 8?
Told you already. No plans. Just learn to take life as it comes and get on with it.
Get a new job
Oh no, the fireworks have started
