another update! - 7 days and counting
update time!
so its been a while since i've done a proper entry. lets see whats going on..
Had my first drum lesson in a while. like.. over 2 years. the drummer was super talented and i found out that he taught drums fulltime so i figured it'd be worth my while. I have some excercises that i'm going to have to work on to increase my doublebass control, as well as some that'll help with my creativity when doing fills.
The problem part is i have a short attention span and these pretty much mean hours set a side a week, nothing but repetitions
so we'll see what happens!
the month of january and most of febuary i've been trying to behave myself
not going out as much or spending money
i definitely did not behave myself for the month of december/january and unfortunately my visa shows it
Next weekend, i'll be on tour with my friends DOLL
i'm going to be their roadie.. i'm kinda excited for this
going to spend my last weekend of my 20s with some real good friends doing music stuff
hahah i'm convinced they asked me to help since i'm good at carrying heavy objects
but still its going to be a blast
So next tuesday is the big 3-0
i'm more looking forward to the party than anything else
incase you haven't heard - i'm renting Cafe Dekcuf on Saturday March 7th
Show up in a birthday hat and get in for free
or you can help me pay for the night and pay for a hat at the door for $5 :)
not sure whats going on for the Tuesday yet.. but most likely dinner somewhere fun
i booked the day off work.. so yeah :)
Other than that.. condo life is going well.. my little fish are growing up and i should be able to sell some of them soon.. some of them will be private sales, but i think most of them are going to big al's for store credit. i'm thinkin of adding some other fish.. but i'm not sure if i want to get another cichlid
for the most part i've kept my condo relatively clean.. except for the bedroom bathroom.. but seriously did you expect antything less? ;)
i still need a dresser but that can wait till i afford it and find one i really like.
job stuff is going OK.. i don't have much patience to do my best. i don't see any.. motivation to?
and its weird.. out of the 4 ppl they've kept on from my team, 2 have been sick/on vacation.. 1 has been extremely busy and the last one i can't really figure out what he does all day. it also seems like my boss is tapping me on the shoulder more often lately to help out with complicated issues.. and in one way thats a good thing because it means i know he relies on me and trusts me to get a job done right.. But on the other hand it also means that i'm doing a lot more work for potentially nothing.
i think thats about it for me.. its taken me about 2 days to find the time to write this thing. so i better post it before my computer decides to install updates/restart or some BS.
