Catch 22

A while back I made a choice to date women that I truly thought I would end up spending the rest of my life with. Dating for me was a test of fire. So I figured the fewer times I try it; the less I would get burned.

Well, now I have found someone. We get along great on most things. However, there are a few areas where I have doubts. Perhaps if I had dated more I would know the answers that I need now.

While we haven't yet gotten to the level of being exclusive. The concept of dating someone just to gain the answers I need, seems degrading to a degree. There are so many "what if's". I have always been the dumpee, not the dumper. This was one lesson I had hoped not to learn.
