Found me a room!
On another note, I found an awesome room for rent in a house. I went and checked it out Saturday and its in a really nice house right by where I used to live (not too excited about that part tho for one obvious reason) and is in a quiet neighborhood. The lady who owns it is also really cool, and actually reminds of one of my aunts who is really outgoing. She's also a manager for British Airways, so she is gone all the time and is only home 1-2 days a week, cant beat that. The only thing that I was skeptical about at first was that the other room is being rented out to a guy, a family friend to be exact that she has known forever, and that I have to share a bathroom with him. I wasnt too comfortable about that at first, but its something I'm sure I'll adapt to.
I go and talk to her again tomorrow and sign the lease (6 mos) and to give her the deposit. The rent is only $385/mo plus $50 utilities, which includes wireless internet, water, electric and cable. Whats really neat about the situation, is that after the 6/mo lease is up, she switches it over to a month-to-month lease option, so I can stay for another couple months or even longer if I wanted to, and the rent rate doesnt change.
