Dear self,
Everytime you look in the mirror, you see a hideous monster that is overweight and disgusting. Someone who has no self-control. But you know what you should see? You should see someone who is trying to get control. Someone who is trying hard. Someone who has confidence in herself, and who is going to get what she wants in the end, who will look the way she wants, and who will feel the way she wants.
If you feel like that, you wont get so depressed and eat and be lethargic the way you do when you are sad.
And when you are sad for other reasons, just look at yourself in the mirror and say "I can do it" and go run or work out and just let your mind wander to other things. Better things. Nicer things. You will be happier and it will be easier to accomplish your goals. How many people do you know who truly accomplish something, the right way, when they are depressed all the time?
You can do it. You can lose the weight. You can be who you want to be. You can look the way you want to look. You can feel the way you want to feel. You can be the confident, beautiful girl who's inside of you, just dying to get out. Your depression and self-loathing is the only thing keeping her locked up.
You can do it.
You. Can. Do. It.
I know you can.
Love the you you want to be, and she will come out.
Love,
the confident, beautiful girl who's buried deep inside
