Dax:In the City

Dax left the Cage Room quickly, feeling his head clearing as he walked away, the farther he got, the better he felt. His guilt was eating through him, and the only thing he could think of right now was getting out, getting away from it for a while. He was just to the gate when someone popped in through the doors and came up towards the gate, "Can I help you?" The small boy looked at him with wide, wary eyes, and shook his head. "Are you hurt? Do you need to go to the hospital?" Dax had softened his voice, trying to remember not to be a big, intimidating lug.

The kid gave a quick nod and moved past Dax, he wasn't here for the hospital, he was here for his scheduled meeting with Salene, he'd never before run into this person and as a spy he wasn't about to announce his presence. He should have taken the car park entrance as usual but he figured it'd be pretty easy to get into Salene's office, the Mall Rats were always busy with one thing or another.

Dax pointed the way and took the garbage bag as the kid moved into the Mall, walking out of the doors and into the street. He walked with a quick pace towards Sector 7 where the Public Works system was set up, kids would take loads of trash to the dump, usually in trade for something. Dax wanted to dump this off and take a nice long stroll back to the Mall, maybe stop in the market and have a look around. He probably should have gotten a shopping list for dinner or something but he wasn't about to interfere with things anymore, Salene would ask if she wanted his help, this much he'd learned already.
