I totally can't believe that uni is going to start soon. Seems like just yesterday that we graduated. I finally talked to Sophie about putting each other's names on the roommate form, and she said she'd like that. I think I'm gonna enjoy getting to know her better. I snicker. "That's hilarious. Does he wear eyeliner too and write songs about how much of a tortured soul he is?"

"Sounds extremely lame," I say, rolling my eyes. "Maybe you guys can get someone different. If not, then we can just laugh at him when we go to the shows." I smirk. Mocking can be fun.

I give him a squeeze, just because I can, and then let go. "It'll be fun." I'm feeling optimistic about everything right now; college, making new friends and keeping the old ones, Jordy and his band, J and Jor finding a way to get along eventually... everything. I just wish I could pass that optimism onto him through osmosis or something.
