Sunday Afternoon
Buffy's first self-defense class was good -- and luckily she didn't think to ask me why I was late. She definitely wouldn't have liked the answer! Anyway, I think everyone had a good time even with the weird undercurrent going on between Sophie and Jan. What else could you expect, though? Not like it was a nice normal situation or anything. I should talk to Jordy again soon and see how things are going; Jan told me that he and Sophie are giving the dating thing a try.
Sophie's meeting me at the Espresso Pump in a bit, but I don't want to seem like I'm fishing for info from her since I don't know her as well as I do Jor and J. I hope to, though. I'm gonna ask her if she wants to room together at UCS. I was going to talk to her at the self-defense class but I managed to forget about it until after I'd already left. That's helpful, huh? Oh well, it's an excuse to have a cold coffee-type drink, too.
In other news, I've been trying to get ready for school. It's different from high school; I don't know exactly what I need for classes yet, so I guess I'll wait on buying things like notebooks, pens, paper and all that. I've been trying to figure out what I'm going to take with me to the dorm. If Sophie does want to room with me, I'll have to ask her how we should handle splitting up who brings what. We definitely don't need two refrigerators, two TVs, two DVD players... It's kind of exciting.
I'm psyched about the fact I'll get to see Avasa more, too. He can actually come to school events with me, if the tons of people around don't freak him out. He's gotten a lot better about that, considering that he's able to work now. He couldn't have done that when I first met him. So, going to school and living at the dorm is going to be totally awesome, I think.
Well, I'm off-- time to go meet Sophie.
