you speak and I don't hear a word

Um, crap. It's 10:00 and I just woke up. School started over two hours ago. I guess nobody noticed I didn't get up. Willow's been going out and walking in the mornings, trying to get her mind off things, I guess, and Buffy probably left for work thinking I'd already gone to school.

It's all Josh's fault. He's so, so bad and so, so good, and I think I must've lost my mind. Wait, I have a mind? Nobody would ever know it lately. There's the whole cutting school thing, which I've never done before. Still, you know, it was neat being out in the middle of the day, at the park, with nobody looking at me like I'm a freak. I went home at the regular time after school - no work yesterday - and did my usual stuff. Homework, dinner, watched TV for a while, took a shower and got dressed for bed. I was drying my hair in my room, and as soon as I cut off the hair dryer, I heard a tapping on my window.

I can't believe Josh managed to climb up there without falling and busting something, with his hand the way it is. He's insane. Okay, I am too, because I let him in. I was having serious Kyle flashbacks. At least this time I wasn't wearing a magically enhanced necklace that would give my sister and Willow the red alert that I had someone in my room with me. He stayed way too late, and he's so persuasive. It made perfect sense at the time to do stuff I never did before. NOT that. My first time is so not going to be with someone I'm not even dating. I don't think. I don't know what we're doing.

I'm going to turn bright red as soon as I see him today. And I don't have anyone to write me a late excuse. Forgery 101, here we come.
