(no subject)
So today is Valentine's Day. I'm just wondering how long ago it was that Hallmark cashed in on this holiday, ya know? I mean, seriously what person/people suddenly decide, hey this is the day that we're going to make everyone spend tons of money on candy, flowers, etc.? I personally don't have that big of a problem with this holiday. The only main problem I have is when EVERYONE expects you to get them something, and if they got you something, they go all crazy on your ass if you didn't get them anything. Like some friends will freak out on you like, why didn't you get anything for me??? And you just have to look at them like umm I didn't know I had to get you anything. Some people are just pyscho like that.
Anyways, I went to the movies last night to see The Phantom of the Opera last night. Now, I've never seen it before in any other sort of production, so I was a virgin to The Phantom. That type of thing usually isn't my cup of tea, but I was surprised to find that I actually enjoyed it. Before me and my friend Amber got there I joked with her saying that if I fall asleep, juts to wake me up when it was over. So about halfway through the movie, she leaned over and asked me if I was bored yet, and I said nope. It was funny though, because we were the youngest ones in there. There were three couples in there besides us, and you can tell that the girls dragged the guys to see the movie, because the three guys looked like they were about to die for having to be there. I wouldn't have any problem going seeing it again though. Speaking of movies, I want to go see Constantine and Cursed when they come out. Cursed looks awesome because I love Christina Ricci, and Constantine, just looks freaky as hell.
I'm so saddened by the fact that my two favorite characters are leaving All My Children. I mean it's Bianca and Maggie, why do they have to leave? That seriously sucks, but hey, at least they're leaving together. Who knows maybe they'll finally hook up before they leave Pine Valley. I can hope anyway. Another show that I've become obsessed with is The O.C. Haha, kinda makes me ashamed of myself, because if anyone saw what I look like you would completely understand why me obsessing over The O.C. is just so strange. But I've become completely obsessed with the Alex/Marissa pairing, though according to somebody on one of the bi communities, Olivia Wilde, the girl that plays Alex, is going to be leaving after the next three episode, which really pisses me off.
I've come to terms with the fact that I am completely and utterly in love with Joss Stone. I had to buy both of her cds. I mean she's just got this amazing voice, and not to mention she's gorgeous. Anybody else in agreeance with my love for Joss? Or am I the only one that loves this girl? Haha oh well if you guys don't like her, then ya'll are just losers. Haha I'm just kidding, I love you all.
