I just changed my hair again!
After lots of little experiments, I like it so much! i have stripes of color now, hehe... so i thought i'd share my excitement!
Also, i was looking at my old pictures and i thought that finally it's time for a worthy TIMELINE!
My hair is naturally black... then i started to dye:
This was on january or february of 2004...
I dyed some strands of my hair purple and pink, but due to the crappy mexican brands i used, it faded reaaaally quickly, bah...
Then i tried to dye my hair bright red (i used some L'Oreal stuff), but all i got was this burgundy color:
Yeah, it looked kinda pretty, but normal... i wanted something BRIGHTER!
Soo... i met Special Effects, decided to try Cherry Bomb, and this is what happened:
Ta-da! Neon-clownish red hair!! Just what i always wanted!! hehe ;)
(Excuse the biiiggg rings under my eyes... i was born with those! :P)
I was in loooove with my Cherry Bomb hair, i got lots of compliments (but also a lot of nasty comments on the street), it was so bright that everyone stared at me at the street, and some people even pointed at me saying: "look at her hair!!"
When it faded it looked like this, a crazy mix of orange and pale pink (due to my uneven initial bleaching, i guess):
Then i got a shorter haircut, and kept dying the same color, blah...
Later than that, it was the WEIRD HAIRCUT ERA:
At this point my hair had been red like for two years or so, and in my city and my school everyone was getting their hair dyed the same color as me (it became like a trend or so), so i started to get tired of it, and decided to try SFX Virgin Rose, and dye an underlayer of my hair with it:
Styled curly (well, sort of):
Dyed my bangs black:
(excuse my crappy make up)
IF YOU ARE STILL LOOKING (OR READING) AT THIS POINT, I ADMIRE YOUR PATIENCE... hehe... ;)
I had that hair since february of 2006, but suddenly this summer there was an "attack of the clones" at my school, and there were like five girls in my school with almost the exact same hair as me, so i decided it was time to change again...
I was thinking of blue, so i bought a bottle of SFX Blue Velvet, threw it over my faded Virgin Rose, and got an Indigo color at first, that quickly started to look purple as it faded:
I was very happy, altough it wasn't really what i wanted at first, i just looked prettier and prettier with every wash! Blue near the roots, and purple at the tips...
(excuse the narcissistic angle here)
But then i started to think it was a little too simple, and something was missing for it to look cool, so i added a pink "striped" strand:
That soon started to look like crap... so i thought about doing something like a primitive racoon tail, hehe:
Thougt it looked good, so i did the same on the other side, but dyed the lighter "bands" with pink:
(stupid face, i know, but you could kinda see what it looks like)
AND NOW I'M HAPPY! Yaahoooo!
