About The Couple
7. How did you meet?: We actually met online in a chat room. I was bored out of my mind and in a “new jersey” chat room. He was also in there, and had just moved to our area about a month before, and hadn’t really met anyone to hang out with. He asked if anyone was from the area, and I replied saying that I was, and we talked through im for a couple hours. He then asked for my phone number, which I gave him and he called me a couple minutes later. He ended up asking to meet me that night, and I finally agreed after about an hour of him asking. We ended up talking for hours, and after he went home he sent me a text saying that he really enjoyed the night and would like to see me again :)
8. What is the sweetest thing your s/o has done for you?: I had surgery in July, so he came to the hospital and stayed with me as long as he was allowed to even though I kept fading back into sleep the whole time, then the next day when I came home he came to my house with two stuffed elephants, flowers, and a card. For the two weeks that I was stuck in the house recovering he came over every night at 4:30, and didn’t leave until 11. I know he was bored, but he made the effort to stay with me and keep me company and that meant a lot to me.
9. Tell us a funny story involving both of you: I don’t know if anyone else would really consider this funny, but we still laugh about it when we think of it. We were in the mall, and I have this kind of.. purse fetish if you would call it that. I have a LOT of them, and after using them for a couple weeks will put them in the closet and buy a new one. We were in a store and I was looking at the purses when I decided that I wasn’t going to buy one for a while, and mentioned that to Ron, about 10ft away from the store the shoulder strap on my purse broke and the whole thing just landed on the floor. I look at Ron and I’m like “See baby! The purse gods are punishing me for that!” he started to laugh and according to him I looked at him with this serious expression on my face and say “Cant you see I’m hurting here?!” He continued to laugh, kissed me on my forehead and went back into the store and bought me the purse I had been looking at.
10. What was the most special date you've had together? Hmm.. I would say it was my prom. I know this probably sounds pretty cliché, but, he wasn’t a big fan of school dances and what not, and had told me he didn’t go to his senior prom, and didn’t regret it. I was rather worried about the whole thing. After realizing how important it was to me, he told me he would take me, and actually got into the whole thing. We drove up to the place, and afterwards, drove back home and he took me out to eat at IHOP considering that was the only thing that was still open. I had always mentioned to him that I would love to sit on the beach with him and watch the sunrise. Afterwards, he took me to his car, and started driving but wouldn’t tell me where he was going at first. He took me to the beach, and we sat there talking, cuddling and kissing and watched the sunrise together. It was perfect :)
11. What made you realize that you were in love? I started to see him everyday, and the minute he left me I missed him, and I still do..
12. Do you two see marriage in the future? Yes we do.
13. Tell us about an issue you both feel strongly about (this can be anything): We both feel strongly about family, and the importance of it. We talk a lot about how we want to raise our children, and be around our families. We make it a point to split our time between our families.
14. What's the best and worst thing about being a couple? The best thing, is that I know the he is always there for me, no matter what the circumstances are. I guess the worst thing is trying to find time for other people, while not sacrificing time with each other
15. Have you met each others family? Yes we have. We both attend each others family functions
