About The Couple
7. How did you meet?: I met him when I auditioned for a musical that he was playing piano for but we didn't ever really get to know each other until his best friend had a huge crush on my best friend and we got invited to one of Gregs parties. I'd always been really attracted to him though and after he'd finished up a contract overseas we'd both grown up and realised we wanted more than friendship.
8. What is the sweetest thing your s/o has done for you?: He's a musician and before we got together he'd been in Thailand on a contract for the past eight months, those are the best paying gigs he does, so when he was offered an even better contract he turned it down to stay with me in Australia, this was a very big deal for him in my eyes, espiecially as we were just starting out back then.
9. Tell us a funny story involving both of you: We were looking through a jewellery pamphlet once and he was asking me to point out my favourtie thing on every page, I didn't know it but when I went to the bathroom he ripped out one of the pages where I had pointed to a ring and said it was my favourite. While I was sleeping the next morning he drove to the shops and bought it for me, when he got back he presented it to me and I bounded downstairs to show my mum, when I showed her she grabbed him and said "she's too young to get married! make sure she knows there was no question with that ring!".....wow, it really doesnt sound that funny on here but I promise it was at the time!
10. What was the most special date you've had together? I love Billy Joel, so when he came out to australia in november Greg bought me tickets and booked us a hotel room for the night, he brought wine and candles. It was perfect :)
11. What made you realize that you were in love? One night we were just lying in bed together, we'd just had a long talk about our lives and he asked me if I loved him because he loved me, I told him I did because it was true! He's never made me anything but happy, this was about four months into our relationship.
12. Do you two see marriage in the future? We're still too young to make any decisions about marriage.
13. Tell us about an issue you both feel strongly about (this can be anything): I don't know if you'd call it an issue...well I would, but we both feel strongly about breast cancer, my grandmother died from it and his mother is currently battling it for the third time, every woman should check themselves regularly, we always make a point to buy pink ribbon products and I organised a fundraising thing for them at school.
14. What's the best and worst thing about being a couple? He's my best friend and I love him with all that I am, I'm always happy and relaxed with him and have the most fun while he's around, the worst thing would be that we don't get many evenings or dates together, because of his work he's often unavailable on friday and saturday nights and well...most evenings really.
15. Have you met each others family? Yes, we're always at each others places, and at christmas we did the meeting of the grandparents. My parents adore him.
