Im playing in three different musical incarnations lately, John Fox Folds (a play on ben folds clearly, great key driven psych. blue tunes that are oh so depressing), Freshgrass/Freshgraft/BlueGraft (upbeat pseudo bluegrass tunes played at a manic pace - "keep awn' rollin' along, keep on rollin' down the hill!"), and Mary's Room (grunge driven psych. rock). drums in the first and third and flatwound acoustic in the second.
Possibly played the most fun gig I've had in 3 or 4 years with John, the venue sound vibe everything I must have looked like the happiest drummer ever to play the blues. AND we have a residency for the next 2-3 weeks at the awesomest local irish pub. yez.
I'm never going to get me socks dry in this goddamn weather am I.
