College is good. Classes are good. People are good. So all in all, things here are good.
Have to learn how to design a web page because apparently that's my job for my dorm council. Must get on that right away as have no idea how to make a web page...hopefully all wil go well...
Started dance classes this week. One lyrical dance is really cool, but the ballet class was mad fast. i couldn't do the steps that fast for the life of me...and the teacher (who is a freshman too) was psycho...won't repeat that experience again.
Choir is cool, have a big concert in a few weeks with all the other music groups in the school for parents weekend. Hopefully we will sound ok. the concert should be fun anyway.
I'm learning how to crochet for my scholar's forum. it's a lot harder than i thought. my teacher made me rip it out three times so i "wouldn't get too attached to my work". i guess that's a good principle, but it was depressing to unravel it so many times. anyway, now i have the hang of it and almost have a whole scarf! christmas presents anyone? i swear they don't look that bad...
Starting to do tech stuff for theatre soon. i auditioned for two shows and got callbacks for both, but then didn't get cast. next semester will be better. tech is fun anyway and it will help me get to know theatre people so yay!
For my scholar class we are going to NYC to go the the moma and to see movin' out! I am super excited! Hopefully i'll get to see Carrie which would just be fabulous!
Coming home October 27 for the long weekend. There will be an awesome roadtrip to visit miss anne krane and hopefully some other fun stuff! Let me know if you are around...
Also...in random news...i just found out today that they filmed Everwood in my friend Kiersten's house! She lives in Salt Lake City and they used her house to be Anne Heish's house! How weird/ cool is that?
Saw an a cappella concert tonight. They sang duck tales= very awesome.
Any way, I hope everyone is happy and having a good time wherever they are.
