I can't believe Mr. Diaz. Supplements are nothing to worry about and I have never needed to take them, my mom required that I did for a short period of time but I usually forgot. I have monthly blood tests to make sure my vitamin levels are where they are suppose to be and only after eating more did they get better. So supplements are nothing a vegan needs to concentrate on. If I were in the room I would've shot him down with the facts, straight to the heart, just like the high cholesterol, fat wearing pieces of meat do. The facts are that Americans usually get about as 6 times of the level of protein then they need, which isn't good. The fact is that protein is the only vitamin that can come from meat, it has a small amount of iron, but other than that it is completely devoid of minerals. The facts are that scientific studies prove vegans live 5 to 10 years longer. The facts prove that 33 percent of Americans are obese and 60 percent die from heart related conditions, while about 2 percent of vegans are obese. *punts Diaz over that football thingy*
