I don't get paid enough
Blush is packed with events this weekend. Great, I'll probably make good money. However, Sunday's MAC AIDS party is getting a little ridiculous. In short, after dealing with the organizer for the past few weeks you'd think that it was just a matter of our staff showing up and doing our thing, and her people showing up and doing their thing. Not so my friends! She's leaving nasty messages on my boss's phone because we're not all at her service whenever she wants. She should have told us everything she needed/wanted from the start, not in bits and pieces as we get closer to the date. Now on my time off I have to call this chick from home.. are you kidding me!?! I barely get paid enough at work, never mind working during my time off! Not only that, our cook (Our Chef is on vacation in Italy) can't be at work on time today so I've gotta start all the kitchen prep before he gets there. I'm so being taken advantage of. I'm looking for a new, normal, day time job. I can always bartend on the side if I want, but the stability of a regular job would be sweet.
Edit: K so I just talked with the organizer and it wasn't anything major at all, she was crazy appreciative that I phoned her from home and expressed how she would be so much happier if only I was the owner! ha Anyway, now that all that's out of the way, I gotta think about decorating the restaurant for tonight :)
