AHHHH PRIDE WAS AWESOME. I haven't been THAT drunk, laughed so hard, or danced until my feet are blistered, in AGES!! I went with ma girls from work and we had a blast. I met up with lots of friends while down there .. and unexpectedly bumped into a few others too. I'd love to give details but frankly I'm a little sick today and I've gotta go into

I'm glad you were able to have such a kick ass time. I have to say, that I am pretty fond of the picture in my head of you in a hot pink cowboy hat. My question is, where-o-where will you wear it to next?

Hehe. I actually spotted the hat a mile away and knew it should be mine, I was just so bloody happy it suited me and matched my hair!! I'll probably sport it at the Offshore Boat Races on July 15th. I've got a gold pass to get into the pits and everything. I'll have to wear some sort of ripped sleeve drag racing tee to accompany it though. It's all about looking like a hard dirty rocker chick ha!

Don't forget the jean cut offs with it too! And if you can't find a drag racing tee, I'm pretty sure monster truck or beer can substitute nicely. Oh man, you so belong in Alberta. Out here you could totally wear the hot pink cowboy hat anywhere, anytime and fit right in! Also Offshore Boat Races sounds totally awesome.

This whole thing reminds me of when Baph and I got pit passes to a Monster Truck event out here last year. It was total fun, dirty rockers and rockabillies galore.

lol.. I suppose I should have mentioned that I already had my ripped mini jean skirt on to boot. It's all about torn denim for that extra grubby cowgirl feel :)

I would love to go to a Monster Truck show. Maybe that'll be next on the list :)

Btw.. Matt and I have started discussing a road trip plan. The idea is to come visit you.. and then continue out to BC so I can go do that zip-lining in the trees stuff!!! :)

The monster truck show was initially just a gag, but we both ended up enjoying ourselves. I guess living out here has kinda changed us into pseudo-prairie-folk; or maybe it's just that we're all about experiencing new and different things and we actually have the opportunity to do this kind of stuff out here.

Road trip hrmmmmm...? That would be fucking awesome! I already know of all kinds of places to take you guys and things to do...I even have a perfect drive through the centre of the rockies that you guys would DIE for (roads are avalanche blocked Oct-Apr though). So if the discussions have started I suppose I am to expect you next summer? BC is pretty amazing too...from here it's only 6-8hrs or so to the Okanagan Valley (which is beautiful). It'll be an amazing road trip for sure!
