Okay, so it's 6:30am and I'm knitting while I wait for my laundry to dry before I get to sleep. Yes, you read it, I'm KNITTING and frankly I like it. So as I was knitting, I thought, maybe I'm a big nerd for being a knitter-bug and thought that perhaps it was time I took this test myself.. and the results are:

My motivation at the moment is... so-so. Every now and again I think I've just got hard luck right now and that things just aren't working out (in regard to finding a job etc) but now that I'm healthy again, I have to take responsibility for my actions and realize that frankly, I could be putting in more effort. I have no one to blame for my lack of job but myself. That's my motivation! ha. When I was sick, I had plenty of reason to not get out of bed at all. That was probably the worst virus I've ever had, I'm just thrilled to have energy and be able to taste/smell again (that was brutal!).

What are you majoring in at school? What kind of material is taught in the chinese course? is it a language course? Also, what is Deru? I wanna try it!

Beat Boxd is a new online music magazine that is devoted to pumping up local Toronto talent in all genres of music. We will be including pieces on visual artists and local issues but the main event is the music. At the moment, this is a team of volunteers working to make the vision happen. At is stands, I'm the editor, so I will essentially say yay or nay to pieces, help polish them up and get things organized for each issue, as well as write reviews and such, myself. We intend to have the website launched by Oct 20th (apparently there's a launch party at some club that's already been arranged) but there's a lot of work that needs to get done. I'll let you know as soon as the first issue is up and running. It's a really amazing group of passionate people and i'm really excited to see it materialize. This could very well be the beginning of something really cool and rewarding for me to be involved with. :)

By the way, sometime in July/August I finished editting a clip on a music group named The Wrong Crowd http://thewrongcrowd.ca. They're a rock/punk type band.

Hmmm for some reason the link isn't working right now. However, I'm sure we could get your clip on the site! :) I'm the editor of the material that goes on the site and I really don't want to discriminate against anyone who is getting their music out there (unless it's decided that it's just awful). If you're interested, I can just put you on the writers list and whenever you want to contribute something to the site, you'd totally have the opportunity to do so. Do you wanna? You'd be kept up to date on all the goings on of Beat Boxd and it would be a great way to connect with some really awesome people.
