Okay, so I was thinking last night, and i realized something very important about love, and it's probably a really famous quote, and I just think that i've come up with something fabolous, but oh well. Basically, I think it should be pointed out that it doesn't take a very special person to break your heart- it takes a special one to mend it. That person who put you through all of that pain and anguish, who didn't care about anyone else but his/herself at the expense of your feelings really isn't worth shit. But that person who can make you want to be in that position to do it all over again... that's something else. To make you want to open up your heart again doesn't just take a nice person, a funny, person, a person you have fun being around... i believe that it really takes true love, and whatever you had before that was just worthless. It's just an opinion anyway, but i've found it works out with a lot of people.
I read in a book that youre first love is what you want ito be, you love the person for who you think they are and who you've made them into, wheareas youre true love after that comes from your deep love of the entire person, in spite of their faults, because of their faults, all of it. My personal experience backs that one up completely. I wonder how many people out there can say that theirs does too....
