yesterday mary, ashli, zach and i went to Little Italy for the 79th annual San Gennaro festival. All of the streets in Little Italy were blocked off and there were just miles of food booths and stores set up in the streets. It was one of the best things I've done since I've been here. Just a giant street fair/carnival in the middle of the city. As we were walking along we happened to turn down a random street and we were out in front of Puglia. It was bizarre. It came out of nowhere. Mary and I had talked about going there sometime when we got really homesick, but that was not the intention of last night. But just as we saw it we heard a man singing outside. It was in fact the same man that had been there in February, at this point Mary and I deemed it fate and we asked him to play "Get Up and Shake Your Napkin." He did. It was then that I realized that while I love New York and my school and the people I've met here, nothing will replace the memories I have of Westford. A think this thought has been going through a lot of our heads recently. I don't really miss that town, I just miss the people in it. I thought of everyone last night while I danced and shook my napkin. I hope everyone is loving where they are and that they are happy. But I really can't wait to see you all on Columbus Day.
