Philip Jose Farmer 1918 - 2009

This morning I learned that Philip Jose Farmer had died on Wednesday. I am not sure why I had not learned this before now. Philip was an awesome writer who changed the face of science fiction. The short story "The Lovers" and the Riverworld series are probably what he is best known for. I will miss him.
