What's up with fantasys and SF and the stupid names?
Everyone is either saying that Avatar is the most awesome thing out there or that it's stupid and trite. I'll see it eventually but it sounds like stupid and trite are probably winning. Unobtanium? For serious? I guess it's no worse than any of the names in Star Wars...
I have a sudden urge to watch Lost Skeleton of Cadavera where everyone's after the ultra-rare atmospherium.
I want to see Sherlock Holmes or The Princess and the Frog again. Yes, I walked away from Holmes not knowing what to think of it, but I think I'll like it more now that I know what to expect. I really need to read the actual books and have convinced Bryce we should do that together after we're done with the latest Fablehaven. I'm loving the book, but we're crawling through it. Next time we'll probably each read it independently - we'd both be done a long time ago if we'd done that.
