I can't get up our hill this morning. I tried, honestly, but there is all this packed down junk the tires kept spinning in.

We've had a good Valentine's Day, or Valentine's Days. Bryce got me Grimm Fairy Tales Vol. 2 and 3 before he got laid off. I hadn't gotten him anything, so we packed up around 3 dozen books and sold them to the half price bookstore. It was funny - we walked in with this big box and the guy was like 'Do you have more?' I wonder how much people generally bring in at a time. We only got $20-some for them, which surprised me because there were several hard backed books in there, one of them was The Host, which I suppose is still pretty hot. Oh well. I also gave up my collection of the annual best SF from the early '70's, that was around five books. Then on the way out I saw they had a stack of 15 of them for pricing. Maybe they charged us for taking those. LOL

So we took the money to Border's to get Bryce the new Ann Coulter book. We also got three truffles and the guy at the checkout gave us a free one so we'd have an even number, that was nice. Then he gave Bryce a hard time for reading Ann. Oh well, he gave us free chocolate.

We had our nice steak dinner yesterday. Who needs chocolate when you have steak, yum. And we have all of today together thanks to Omaha not thinking our street is important. We'll probably play our game today and take it easy. Maybe I'll write some, I don't know.

snow, valentine's day, wal-mart, bryce
