A friend of mine recently met a new man. A new, "wonderful" man. He thinks of her often, bought her an adorable stuffed animal for her birthday, and connects with her on a lot of emotional levels right now. He also has a live-in girlfriend of a year and a half whom he's struggling with, and wanting to leave but unsure of how.

He's a good ally for my friend right now, and I am glad she's hopeful,
But its my worst nightmare.

And its keeping me up at night.
