HEY EVERYONE! so im leavin for NAWA acadamy in 2 weeks! im really scared cause im gunna be gone for a year... =( well here is NAWAs mission statment... i think it sounds good! ... any comments??
Nawa Academy Mission Statement
Nawa Academy is a non-traditional boarding school that prepares students with diverse learning needs to meet the challenges and complexities of the future. Through an experiential approach to learning, a creative and caring faculty and a nurturing environment, we seek to instill an excitement for lifelong learning. We encourage efforts to confront challenges, which fuel a growing realization of greater capability. We teach and reflect the values of moral character, physical wellness, and social responsibility by fostering open communication between faculty and students. Nawa Academy openly embraces the qualities of individuality, responsibility, diversity, human dignity and respect for others. By living in an atmosphere based on patience, dialogue, and intellectual inquiry, our students develop the skills to face the future successfully.
