Okay, I know pianodude34 has started a new version of this community that can keep track of all the comments made, which is really cool, and not something I can really do. But, well, I like it here and don't want to see the place just die. So I'm using whatever moderator powers I may have to keep the posts coming as long as people want to

They might, but seriously, the 665 members we once had will NEVER be back. We have 20 active members, seriously, and they're all at the new community, that's why I made one, for the ones who would follow over.

Oh, I know. Most of them were never active at any point in time. But I know there are some that haven't joined over at the new community, who are active sporadically, and who might still want to post. And, who knows, some of the active members might still want to post here, too. Which is why I'm making this post, to find out. That's all.

And, I'd like to add, I guess I don't like that you didn't contact the other moderators (well, at least I know you didn't contact me) about closing the last post. I don't really like seeing, in big bold letters, "DON'T comment here EVER AGAIN!!!" It makes it look like we should avoid this place like it's the plague or something. I've been here since the first post over on the old randomquestions community, and I made a lot of friends along the way. When that community got deleted it kind of made us sad, which is why squealer decided we needed a community to continue the comment whoring. (And the whole story can be found in the history of the community I wrote up).

So it's not that I'm being mean or anything, and I really hope you don't think that about me. It's just that there are a lot of memories that go along with the community, and I hate to see it just dropped like this.

I've actually been looking at my friends lists often, just not posting anything myself or commenting anything on anyones for that metter. I've been monitoring the community for a while too, but Kristie has apparently taken away my moderator status...

Probably because lack of activity. My last post (and really the last time anyone on LJ heard from me) was 10-11 months ago.

I see the downfall of this community, despite the fact that this is the original. But I know that I personally lost the will to comment whore once LJ instituted a 5000 comment limit. The whole point was to get 1 post to some rediculous number.. but I lost that fire.
