Everyone in society is part of a play. Everyone is an actor with scripts. Everyone is an actor with masks. Say we go into class....we are not told to sit in the desks, we are not told which way to face the desks or if they have to be in the same direction, we are not told to face the teacher. We just do it all because of the script we go by. We have our presentation which is how we act around everyone and the look we have. If you go to an interview you always dress and look your best. Thats your presentation, its what you want people to think you are. We have the face-work which is how we maintain our presentation. And we have frontstage and backstage; where frontstage is what you want people to see and backstage is not a performance, its real, its your chaotic life that you try to hide. No matter how much you dont wanna believe that this is true, if you really think about it....its true!
