As most of you know, ej33t and myself went to see NIN on Friday night. They were ok, not great.

"What was the best concert you ever saw? What made it so great?"The best concert I've seen was Nightwish. They played well, and Tarja's voice was just awesome

I have two favorites; The first gig I ever went to which was Less Than Jake, it was just an amazing introduction to gigs & i've never looked back; We were at the front barrier, and it was the perfect climax to an all-round good day. It wasn't some crazy-special day or anything, it was just another college day really, but it was a very good day :)

My other best gig was the last one I attended; I saw Audioslave with Ste [and 2 of his friends]; It was just wonderful, Audioslave were incredible live & apart from a few [ok, a whole lot] of knob-heads in the crowd it was just thoroughly enjoyable, there was so much energy! The best part was when Chris Cornell was alone onstage, singing an acoustic version of Black Hole Sun, playing his acoustic guitar, and the backdrop of the stage turned to twinkly lights like stars in the night sky, everyone had their lighters out [although the disgusting side to that is that it meant they actually smoke] & Chris stopped to let us all sing & everyone was unified; And my Ste was stood behind me with his arms wrapped around me tightly & whispered lovely things to me after the song .. it was so Romantic *hearts;

I'd love to check out Audioslave show sometime. I daresay that would be a rockin' gig.
