what is with all the wild animals in pelham? i know this is insanely random but i mean, last night there were 3 deer spottings in pelham. then there was a wolf on highbrook ave and the police called everyone in the surrounding area to make sure all animals were kept inside. now i'm hearing that there was a coyote seen also. i really don't understand how it's happening. i mean it's really funny but it's so random.
anyway in other news - i legally voted for the first time yesterday. it was the pelham elections for mayor and stuff. i voted all democrat but all republicans won. fucking conservative ass town.
today after school i'm going to see the sound of music. it's going to be really awkward cuz i should have been in it. i'm going with carmen and my friend from bronxville. i got kristin flowers to give to her during the curtain call because i feel like she's the only person that deserved the role they got (other than lesley). she's worked so hard the past 4 years and i'm so happy that she's maria. it's like the only good thing about the show. obviously i'm still bitter. whatever. i see mr. orefice in the hallways and stuff and completely dead him because i seriously despise that man. he's such a dick and a half. he acts like nothing happened it's so retarded. it's just that i worked for four years to get to this and he completely shattered EVERYTHING. whatever. shit happens for a reason. i'm actually happy i'm not part of the show. it's given me a lot of time for other more important things.
today since mamaroneck HS had a day off, dan and i cut select and went out to lunch with carmen, tanya, emily, and becca. it was a lot of fun. we went to depot, had mad good food and a great time making fun of eachother. good times good times. p.s. carmen has random bursts of down syndrome.
on friday rachel and i are going job hunting in the city for the summer. we're applying to all these restaurants in the times square area because since it's such a tourist trap the tips are apparently amazing. carmen's cousin worked at applebees for example and apparently made like $300 in tips a night. even if he's overexaggerating by like 2/3, $100 a night is still amazing. i hope i get something. i'm going to apply at applbees, chevys, the olive garden, and all those places. hopefully someone will call me. especially since i'm 18 now and by that point will be out of high school, i'm legally allowed to serve alcohol and probably have a better chance of getting the job.
