Here another Dreamer picspam for picspammy . Everything you wrote I agree so much! He knew his limitations and he knew Liz still had a chance to get out of Roswell, to see the world. He didn't want to hold her back because he knew he would do just that. I think Max always felt guilty that he sucked Liz into his world because ever since he saved her, it's been nothing but problems, running from the law, and etc. I think he always felt bad and if he knew Liz stayed for him, he wouldn't be able to live with himself. He sees Liz as his lifeline, but he also sees life in general in Liz. Liz has so much brightness to her that it needs to be shared with the world, and he knew that. <333
Ugh, now that they are on the road together, they kind of are seeing the world in a way, you know? But I would have loved to seen them go to foreign places (on Earth!).
The line, "Why can't you come with me?", just kills me. Besides Max wanting to let her go, Liz can't let him go. She needs him just as much because he's her other half. He would protect her just like she would protect him. They balance each other in every aspect.
