Cloes's room: Cloe, Ved

Cloe led Ved, but first stopped at the hospital to pick up supplies. She lead Ved to her room. "Can you take off your shirt Ved? It will make it easier." She smiled. There were some things she needed to talk to him about.

Ved put his laptop down on Cloe's bed and removed his shirt. "Better?"

"Much." Cloe removed the old bandages from Ved's arm and Chest. "So, what ever happened to Ram?" She tried not to be too obvious she knew he was still around.

"I don't know Cloe, but it doesn't matter anymore. I'm a MallRat, no need to worry about the Technos."

Cloe poured some alcohol onto a rag and wipped Ved's arm and chest. "Sorry if it stings." She smiled at him, hoping he was telling the truth. "So, happy to be a Mallrat? A virt?" She looked at him with her big doe eyes.

"Yeah, I like being here, I can finally relax and be myself." Ved faked a smile.

Cloe took a bandage and carefully wrapped Ved's arm. "You don't seem to happy." She tied it off and begin to bandage his chest. "Tell me, Ved." She finished up and handed Ved his shirt.

"What do you want me to tell you?"

"Somethings bothering you. You can tell me." She smiled at him and she put her hand on his.

Ved took a sharp breath in, "Cloe, I'm afraid. I'm afraid that if I get to comfortable that something will happen to the MallRats and I'll be alone."

Cloe frowned, but yet, she also smiled. Ved was scared. She had never seen him this way before. She looked him in the eyes with a caring a face. "You'll never be alone. You and I, we will always have eachother. If something happens, we go together. I promise you. Ved, I love you with all my heart." Cloe leaned in and kissed him passionatly. She slowly pulled a little bit away and whispered, "I will always love you." And then kissed him once more.

Cloe's kiss was warm and reassuring. How could he feel so hollow after something with so much meaning? "I love you too, Cloe. You should finish up my dressings so we can meet the other MallRats for dinner. I think they'd like it if we showed up, we always have later."

Cloe sighed. He was right. But something deeper was bothering him. She'd find out later. She finished his dressings. Re-adjusted his arm wrap and made sure the bandages on his chest were staying. She gave him a smile, but her mind wandered far away. Salene and Ryan. What had she thought of the note? Was it too obvious that it wasn't really Ryan. Cloe stared off into space with a blank stare on her face.

Ved waved his hand in front of Cloe's face, "You doing okay yourself?"

Cloe shook her head and turned back to Ved as he waved his hand in front of her face. She swore she could feel something rolling around inside her brain. "Ow! I, uh. I'm okay. Still not great. My head head hurts and sorta stings. But I'm alright." She sighed. "But I'm worried about you. Are you okay?" She put her hand on his. "I love you and I'm really woried about you. It's almost like you think the Mallrats are going to hurt you or something."

Ved sighed, "I'm fine, I swear it. Dinner will be starting soon, so let's not linger here, we'll have plenty of time later." Ved stressed the later. If Cloe was so sure he had nothing to fear they could put things off for a bit. He wanted to get back to the gathering of MallRats and eventually have a moment to speak with Jay. You're now a MallRat Ved thought to himself. He shivered. "Come on, Clo, please?" He pouted a bit and gave Cloe the 'I love you' eyes.

Cloe nodded and smiled. "Later. We'll talk later." She gave him a quick kiss on the cheek.
