just a quick update,
godspeed set up was awesome and our dance stages were the best.
I felt so privelaged to be asked to dance infront of so many people.
I was so excited to dance at godspeed, so unbelievably pumped and so happy that i was given the chance to do so..but sadly i felt it didn't work out.
We had to do routines with another partner and i was put with a girl at the last minute..we had one rehearsal till bout 2am the night before where we tried to get in sink with eachother. I was relieved that i managed to grab her for a rehearsal and had hope that we may just look ok..
As soon as the rave began she was off and doing drugs. We didn't run over the dance and my levels of anger and utter frustration were rising..she ended up backing out of the routine. My heart sank when she said this.
the other two girls on the otherhand were absolutely fantastic! I just wish i could clone another one of them and that person could have been my partner that night. I couldn't sleep when i got home i was so upset and shaken up..i got home at about 5am and had work at 10am so i just sat around moping with worry till work began. I don't know how i made it through an 8 hour day running on no sleep and the dissapointment of what could have been the best night and best dance ever!
Ahh well with performing you have to take the good with the bad.
I'll get over this one day hehe..
hmm i feel like a hot chocolate i may go and have one now.
