About 2 years ago nightcomes (formerly lj user chokeanddie) at the icon community glassballerina (previously at _hellsbelles) kept running out of bandwidth on her posts. At the time she was posting alot of VM, SPN and BtVS art that I was enjoying. She's a good enough artist and one of those that posts like 100+ icons in a post. So I offered to host her art on my photobucket(see links on right). I have a pro account with unlimited bandwidth I never use and a pretty nice chunk of space.
Now, here's the thing. She did a friends cut and cut me. Then she posts this:

Now, I'm sitting her thinking about it and getting madder and madder by the minute. I remembered a long time ago checking for any kind of credit for what I was doing for her, but never even found a resource post for any of her art work. So I check now. Nothing. No resource post whatsoever. So it got me even a bit madder that someone who posts literally hundreds of icons a month and asks for credit for her work doesn't credit anyone except the people who made her lj layouts. No brushes, no pictures, no bandwidth - nada. She also has a screencaps community and posts and requests credit for her caps. So I'm sitting here stewing thinking "Ok, yeah, so you create and want credit - gotcha. But someone gives you something and you can't even remember who they are enough not to cut them as a friend?"
So here is what I posted:

Not that I really care either way - but since I have been hosting ALL of your fanart for, oh - a few years now with not a single mention of credit - I guess this is a bit shocking. I didn't really ask for the credit but considering you don't even mentally know who I am and my paid Photobucket is hosting almost 1300 of your pictures and your art - well, that's just a bit rude.
I'll defriend you as well - because we really don't have a whole lot in common anymore. Clearly.
Find another 'host' for your art to solve your bandwidth problems that come with free accounts. My password has now been changed. I'm seriously considering clearing all of your things out of my photobucket - so just be aware that your previous work might just be homeless in the coming months. You can still go in and look at it at MY photobucket, but editing, deleting, all that stuff. Nope.
Seriously, get a resource post. You are the ONLY person I know or have seen on LJ who makes fanart who doesn't have one. I haven't even posted any art in almost a year and I keep mine up to date. To not is just tacky and kinda gets you into trouble.

Btw, the link to the post is here. Absolutely love how some Ashley Tisdale devotee tells her to 'ignore' my comment as drama and how hard she rocks. And I was totally wrong up there. She has at well over 1300 pics in there. That is how many pictures are in her front ablum. There are almost 100 subfolders she is sporting as well (See new link at bottom of post to the album).
I mean do I need my medication changed or was she the one that is totally shitty here. And even worse - haven't heard a word. Not one word. Keep in mind she literally has THOUSANDS OF PICTURES loaded onto my photobucket. And has pushed my bandwidth into the 15 GB per month range - not that it really matters to me, since my account has unlimited. But seriously.
What is the deal here? What was the right thing to do? I feel like I did it. I mean when I offered the bandwidth it was in the spirit of good faith. I never asked for credit, but I should hope to at least be remembered.
Then as I'm posting this and I check back she has posted this reply to me:

YOU KNOW WHAT? Fine. Delete my stuff. I honestly forgot WHO'S Photobucket I was using and I was going to post and ASK who but it always slipped my mind. And MAYBE I would know who the hell you are if you commented once and a while? I know I don't comment, but hey, it's a 2 way street.

You know what? I will. Good, you're passwords changed. I don't need anymore shit drama that I already have. Why would I even want to edit and delete your stuff?

So yeah, I was feeling a bit harsh but now - man, tomorrow bright and early the deleting will begin. So if any of you are members of her fanart community - my name might be mud soon. But honestly I don't see what I did wrong except trust a immature little ungrateful snot. Well, that's what you get for being nice. Sad thing is, she could have totally come in and said 'OMG!I totally didn't mean to do that and I'm sooooooooo sorry and your so right I have just been to busy to get my resource post put together because yada-yada-yada' and we could have deleted the bitchiness and I would have been fine. Because for all my bitchy noise I really am an extrememly nice and generous person. But this shit just totally scattered my calm.
Shit drama indeed!
PS - I'm running out of bitchy/angry icons for originality. Bah!
ETA Per houses7177's advise I changed her main album so now all of her links are forked until I have time (since I only internet at work) to delete all of her content out of my photobucket. If anyone still wants to see, you can check her 'area' out here.
