Here again
I really have no excuse except being busy for being MIA for, well, months really. But everyone knows how it goes. I hope to get back into posting with a good bit more regularity now that everything seems to have evened out for the most part in my post vacation whirlwind.
I'm planning a huge picture post from one of the most fun days of my entire life which I shared with j_mac179 and empressvesica when we went to Busch Gardens in Tampa, FL on April 10th. It was a fantastic day, even if I did end up with no less than 5 blisters across my freshly pedicured feet. Somethings are just worth it. My entire vacay was wonderful although I did drive my companions a bit crazy with my insane shopping habits *blushes shamelessly*. Relaxing at j_mac179's for a week was exactly the break I needed and I came back feeling refreshed and ready for real life again (well, mostly). I'm working on my big vacay post at home because I know it will never get done like it should if I even attempt to do it here at work.
TV has been insane. I can't wait to start posting about it all. Although it seems the rate my days are going I will most likely hold out until after the finales. When I'm not watching new programming I am still reading like mad at home, mostly QaF fanfic, but also a few books as well that I will most likely be bring up in the near future.
I don't know, fandom is just a bit weird for me right now. It almost feels like I'm on the outside looking in because I just don't have the time I am accustomed to having to devote to it. I'm just in a weird place with it all. Sorry, babbling.
I really just wanted to pop in and say that I am planning on making real posts about things people might be interested in the near future. I haven't been completely absent from my flist, but I have extreme guilt for not posting in so long even though time and at times the motivation has not been on my side.
~ETA~ : A huge belated birthday wish to the lovely, talented and utterly fantastic empressvesica whose big day was Friday, May 9th. I know I suck, but hey - at least I remembered today! Personally I see that as a huge personal accomplishment. *smooch*
