First let me send a happy belated to my true chosen family little sister jessntom9206 for last Friday the 20th. I am in some sort of denial completely that you are 22 now. Total denial actually. I got your text yesterday and it meant alot. *hugs*

Hey, you survived your 25th, so your already a step ahead of me. Seriously though, you have such a bright and wonderful future ahead of you - so many more opportunities than I had. Bless you and I hope on the family front things stay at least somewhat sane. I know how it is when you are an ultimate caregiver, and it wasn't until I was about 29 when I learned to just say 'you know what? I'm important too'. It takes time to let go of everyone elses problems when you have this deep need to make everything else all right. My thoughts and prayers are with you, even though we don't get as much time to visit anymore. You will always be my lj b-day twin. *hugs*

Yes, I did survive my 25th! It wasn't too bad really, but I spent most of the day hiding from people!
And thank you for your words :) Sometimes I do wonder what will happen in the future. I think I don't really want to face it, and looking after others is a way to escape my own problems, so it's really not a good thing at the end of the day. But yeah, family-wise things are getting better, I just hope it will continue that way!

That is not a lj discussion. For the record though, my 21st sucked pretty hard as well. Of course as with most things in my younger life they both centered around a boy/man. Ben was my salvation from that fiasco.
