He was in S4 of Smallville, which I'm sure was a slip, but S5 was the one with the Clana bangbang. I loathed the very idea of Jason long before he showed up on screen, so it just was an unpleasant experience. My first real fandom was Smallville/Clana you see, so my opinion was very colored by that.
Anyway - I have also been tempted to rewatch S4 even though I loathed it when it first aired, because yes - I am just that into Jensen now. Do you see a pattern here? Smallville produces hatred from me and Supernatural produces love. It makes all the difference in the world.
OMG! Lost! *spoiler-speculation ahead*
I think that Jack is usuing this whole "All I want is off the island" and being chummy and all personal Dr. to Ben as part of his plan to help everyone else. What we all know from Jack is that he will put others first, and he does feel responsible for the other 40+ survivors of Flight 815. He wouldn't pull a Michael and just walk away clean. He has to keep letting these people believe that he is playing their game and is just worried about himself for now.
Of course the shit is gonna hit the fan big time in the process. Unfortunately he can't tell Kate and Sayid and the rest that is his plan. IMHO he is trying to help his survivors by falsely pushing them away. If he just ran back to camp with his people, after gaining so much trust and info with The Others and Ben, then if there IS a way off the island threw these people he will have missed that as well. The signifigance of his tattoo story was all about him being a leader who is ultimately alone. That is how he feels he must approach The Others. And given their treatment of all of the remainder flight 815 survivors, I'm not sure that's a bad call. Although, I still want to know why they even wanted Kate and Sawyer in the first place. I mean, Kate could have been used to influence Jack, but why Sawyer.
See, this is where Lost conversations go. Babble-time.
Ahh, yes, season 4. *hits brain* I was kinda the opposite, no a Lana fan, and thus ignores her storyline for the most part.
Lost. Wow, you're a smart cookie! My brain just screamed "BETRAYAL!" when I saw that, I didn't even think of Jack blending in to gain their trust. And the significance of that tattoo definitely makes a lot more sense now.
I'm very curious about their list and how they chose the people on the list and what they're doing with them. And did they cause the crash then? Didn't Desmond do that accidentally?
And about Sawyer, maybe they knew about all their relationship and wanted to sorta use it against them?
And the half-sibling thing, how does it play into the whole plot? How are Jack and Claire suppose to even find out? With their father dead and them cut off from outside contact, there is no way they just randomly figure it out by themselves. Claire doesn't even know her father's name.
Yes, Lost babble. I don't really have a lot of people to discuss Lost with, so yeah, sorry for the babble. =P
